Stage 22 of the project
SAILS OF THE SPIRIT 2026
The Extrability Movement. Choosing to continue.
In 2016, Sails of the Spirit set a course from Saint Petersburg to Paris. That was the first stage of a great round-the-world journey.
Today, 10 years later, we are continuing this voyage together with the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom — a company that looks 150 years ahead.

SAILS OF THE SPIRIT

This is an international movement that reveals human talents and generates social energy around various territories. Our experience confirms that long‑term technological development begins with a culture of caring for people and their potential.

Features of Sails of the Spirit 2026
This year, things are a little different
  • Sails of the Spirit is not a series of standalone events, but a cycle in each country
You can expect several weeks of collaborative work: camps, workshops, regattas, city days, roundtable discussions
  • Autonomy of each region
The programme in each country is unique and self-contained
  • Multiple formats of participation
You can attend the full cycle, join a camp or expedition, or become a volunteer at a festival or event
Three locations for 2026
Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey
Sails of the Spirit in Kyrgyzstan
Location: Orbita Base, Lake Issyk-Kul
Dates: 24 August – 5 September 2026

In Kyrgyzstan, we combine the energy of ancient nomadic culture with a bold vision for decades ahead. First, a large creative laboratory where participants together develop useful ideas and projects for real people and regions. Then, a venture into the city, live communication, a regatta, and a shared celebration.
Sails of the Spirit in Kazakhstan
Locations: Lake Balkhash, Ülken, Astana
Dates: 6 September – 17 September 2026

First, the shore of Lake Balkhash, then the territory where the energy of the future is being built. Together we create meanings and ideas in a laboratory format, and then we bring them to Ülken — a place that will become a new energy point on the map. Where industrial energy is to grow, human energy must be born first.
Sails of the Spirit in Turkey
Expedition on the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea
Dates: 6 October – 24 October 2026

The longest international stage of the year. We continue to explore the Black Sea direction in Trabzon, and then embark on a two‑week expedition across the Mediterranean. The route connects four ports, dozens of meetings, and hundreds of people. A special focus is on the participation of the youth team from the under‑construction Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, where the energy of the future and human energy once again go hand in hand.
