Extrability Movement
In English, "disability" is translated as "disability", where "dis-" is a negative prefix. Thus, the concept of disability is related to the idea of lack of ability.
"Extrability" (from English extra - additional, high quality, high level) - these are abilities that develop, due to restrictions, in the process of successful socialization.
The goal of the project is to create an infrastructure to support, develop and use additional talents and abilities (extrability) of representatives of various social groups

Position of the "Extrability Movement" in the transformational processes of the XXI century

Medical paradigm
for a long time remained the main one in the world. In this model, a person with a disability was perceived as a patient, as an Object in the process of social interaction. Therefore, care, passivity, compassion and a demonstration of the “top-down” position were required.

Social paradigm
manifests itself in the interaction between representatives of different social groups, becomes a new norm, mainstream. Inclusion in business, in school curricula, creating equal conditions for everyone, despite the restrictions.

Sails of the Spirit
Expeditions on a sailing and motor vessel, inclusive regattas, freediving, kayaking, social and cultural events as part of an inclusive team:

  • over 20 thousand nautical miles
  • 30 countries of the world
  • more than 7.5 thousand people
School of Masters of Inclusion
Programs of additional education and advanced training, the formation of communicative competencies for interacting with people with disabilities, theory and practice of personnel training.
More than 10 thousand employees of the medical and transport sectors, the service sector, and civil servants have been trained.
Congresses of people with disabilities
Exchange of experience, demonstration of the best Russian and international practices. More than 1000 people from 30 countries and 5 continents have already taken part in the congresses.
