The second group of SIV training in Egypt will start tomorrow. The online webinars will take place on August 16, 18, 20 and 23 at 5:00 pm Cairo time. The invited speakers from Russia, Latvia, Egypt and other countries will share their personal practical experience and real cases. The School of Inclusive Volunteering will be useful and interesting to representatives of public organizations that work with people with disabilities, people with disabilities themselves, and activists. Upon graduation from the School, students will receive certificates. Based on the results of the training, the participants will create their own projects that will participate in the competition, the winners (two representatives from Egypt) will take part in the IV Russian Congress of People with Disabilities from villages and small towns in the village. Kinel-Cherkasy in September 2020. This is the largest village in Russia with a developed inclusive culture. Also, activists of the school will take part in the humanitarian mission “Sails of the Spirit – 2020” in the Mediterranean Sea, supported by the State Corporation Rosatom.
The School of Inclusive Volunteering is organized by the White Cane Autonomous Non-Profit Organization with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund of the President of the Russian Federation. The project aims to teach the basics of inclusive volunteering and project activities.
