EXTRABILITY DAYS IN TURKEY

Yachting is considered by many to be a very difficult sport. There is an opinion that people with disabilities cannot participate in such events. But it’s not true! The main thing is to have an active life position.

“Sails of the Spirit” expedition proves that everything is possible. For many years, we, together with the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, have been holding inclusive regattas in different countries of the world.

The final direction of the expedition “Sails of the Spirit 2022: Development of the extrability movement” is Turkey. From October 8 to October 22, the inclusive team will make several sea trips, as well as hold social and cultural events for residents and guests of this sunny country.

We invite everyone to the Extrability Festival in the province of Mersin! The event runs from 13 to 18 October. This event marks the end of the Marmaris-Tasucu offshore race, the winners of the regatta will be awarded at the celebration of an inclusive society.

On October 14, the festival opens its doors to guests and participants.The event of the day is an entertainment program, represented by traditional extrability games, but this time it will be diversified by national Russian and Turkish activities, as well as paravolleyball and parabasketball.

The next day, October 15, Extrability Day will take place. Event organizer – Tarsus Disability Platform. The program of the event includes: seminar “Extrability Leadership”, regatta and environmental events in Tashuju, a concert with a greeting from officials and rewarding of participants in the regatta.On October 16, the delegation will visit the historical city of Tarsus, where they will meet with representatives of associations, non-profit organizations and businesses. The program consists of an inclusive tour around cultural and historical attractions of the city, as well as the coklecting feedback from participants.

A no less intense program awaits participants on October 17th. In the morning, the Extrability of Leadership master class will be held by famous speakers: Sylvia Stiglik and Ayal Bloch, as well as a representative of the Ministry of Family and Social Services. On this day, the results of the Extrability festival will be summed up. But the expedition “Sails of the Spirit – Turkey” does not end there.
