On december 6th White Cane NGO, together with Sinop university, within the scope of development of Extrability movement held a seminar for students of social service department with a goal of developing professional skills in field of interaction with people with disabilities.
Within the scope of the seminar the students learned about the philosophy of the movement, took part in a workshop an learned about personal transformation experiences of volunteers and organizers of the movement - President of White Cane NGO, co-founder of Extrability movement - Oleg Kolpashchikov (Russia), head of Tarsus disability platform - Dursun Arslan (Türkiye), a volunteer of Extrability movement - Alina Tosun (Türkiye).
The students of the university got really interested in the Sails of the spirit project and topic of extrabilities, they took part with pleasure in disscusing extrability video and became initiators of continuation of such meetings in online and offline format.
Acting rector of Sinop university Prof. Dr. Muhittin Yilmaz Also took part in the event, who noted importance of holding the seminar.
In conclusion of the seminar, co-founder of Extrability moventent suggested to invite students of russian higher-education institutions, his idea was supported with joy by all participants. Holding of this seminar became a continuation of collaboration with Sinop city within the framework of Sails of the spirit project, that was started in october of this year.
