On September 6, 2025, the international social-sports event "Days of ExtraAbility" will be held in Astana as part of the "Sails of Spirit" project, implemented by the "White Cane" NGO with the support of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom".
The project has been running since 2011 in various countries including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Russia, Egypt, and others, uniting people with diverse life experiences (including people with disabilities) through sports, culture, and education. In Kazakhstan, the "Sails of Spirit" project is taking place for the third time, confirming the country's special attention to the development of inclusion.
This year, participants from Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Russia, Latvia, and other countries will come to Astana.
As part of the program on September 6, the embankment will host a grand celebration featuring an inclusive regatta, sensory development masterclasses, and a unique gala concert right on board a catamaran.
The event will conclude with a spectacular flash mob of sign language singing, symbolizing the unity of people.
The main theme of "Sails of Spirit" in 2025 is "Movement Towards Mutual Enrichment", reflecting the idea of exchanging experiences, traditions, and stories that make society richer and stronger.
