In August 2025, the picturesque shores of Lake Issyk-Kul at the "Orbita" recreation base will host the large-scale international event "Days of ExtraAbility. Sails of Spirit – Kyrgyzstan 2025". The festival will erase boundaries between people of different nationalities and physical abilities, uniting participants from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Latvia, and Egypt.
The event is supported by Dastan Dalabayevich Bekeshev, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom".
Festival Program:
🗓 August 23
🗓 August 24
"Sails of Spirit is more than a sports competition. It is an international dialogue, a cultural exchange, and the birth of friendships that last for years. Here, new initiatives emerge, and every participant, regardless of country or abilities, becomes part of a greater story of overcoming barriers and mutual understanding."
Background:
The "Sails of Spirit" project has been running since 2011, aiming to develop inclusive yachting as an open model for unlocking human talents and capabilities. It is not just a sailing sport but a philosophy uniting people through cooperation and mutual respect. Over the years, the project has covered more than 30,000 nautical miles and brought together over 45,000 participants.
Since 2016, "Sails of Spirit" has been implemented by the "White Cane" NGO with the support of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom" and the Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo".
